A Prophetic Word to Local Church Leaders

The greatest church-growth program ever devised in the history of mankind and the church Jesus is building is the Fivefold Ministry Model outlined in Ephesians 4:4-16. Every senior church leader in America and some other nations around the world has at their ready disposal some of the most battle-tested, God-anointed, God-appointed, life-experienced Fivefold Ministers on the planet living right in their “backyard,” so to speak, in the form of highly-experienced preachers/teachers/ministers who reside in their geographical sphere of operation — in their immediate locality, their region, or state. God has distributed these mighty warriors of God all around you like salt on a plate of food. These are Kingdom-assets God has blessed you with who are eager to do what they can within their range of ministerial expertise to HELP you in the task of building your local church.

FIREBRANDS FROM HEAVEN

“On any given Sunday,” what emanates from most pulpits in America, sad to say, has the spiritual depth of Scotch Tape! Regardless of how pious-sounding and eloquently delivered the religious rhetoric, it is nonetheless void of the divine-power required to edify and activate the hearers’ spirits. Why?

Let Us Pray!

Prayer is the most powerful weapon we possess, yet the enemy makes it seem like the most difficult to wield, and even the most ineffectual. But, that is deception. God’s word says, “The effectual and fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much!” Interpretation? Prayer works! Is it difficult? About as difficult as thinking the next thought that wistfully and effortlessly flutters through your mind. The only thing difficult about prayer is overriding one’s flesh that resists us doing it with all it’s got!

The Evil Face of OUR Adversary!

The two untouched photographs above, published by national news services, capture the massive explosions of the World Trade Center twin towers on Manhattan Island after two terrorist-hijacked commercial airline planes slammed into the world famous 140-story skyscrapers. Readily discernible in the fire and smoke of the explosion, from both of the different perspectives of the photos, is the evil face of the true adversary behind these unspeakably dastardly deeds. These amazing photos ostensibly bear the very image of Satan himself, and presumably are God’s miraculous proof to us of the evil one’s existence and that he is the ultimate “terrorist” behind the hatred-driven havoc wreaked upon America on September 11, 2001. The image on the left bears the devil’s face against the backdrop of a distorted cross, representative of Satan’s counterfeit portrayals of himself as the Messiah. The image on the right bears a lion-like face a la the Biblical description of the devil who roams about on Earth “AS a roaring lion,” mimicking “The Lion of the Tribe of Judah,” and deceiving multitudes of untaught into believing that it is The Lion of the Tribe of Judah who is perpetrating the diabolical schemes that he himself, Satan, authors.

Disarmament or Discernment?

Cajoling the foe to disarm, thereby rendering him defenseless against his diabolic deceptions and dastardly designs of captivation, has been the ploy of the enemy for time immemorial, whether in the sociological systems of the world or the polity of the Church....

Prophetic Purpose

With all the proliferation and promotion of the prophetic that is happily taking place now in some streams and camps of the Church, it is critical that we understand what the true purpose of the prophetic really is. Some prophetic novices and new prophetic groups appear to think that prophecy itself, whether in the form of personal prophesying over people or publishing prophecies on the Internet, for example, is the goal of the prophetic. Moreover, the actions, attitudes, and speech of some regarding the prophetic seem to indicate they think that the prophetic is an end in itself. But, it’s not.

False Unity and the Lakeland Revival Cult (Part 1)

The so-called “Lakeland Healing Revival” has produced a new cult of dogmatic religious zealots, who claim to be “Christians” birthing a “new form” of Christianity. They speak the words, the phrases, the idioms, the expressions associated with Christianity, but their doctrine, or teaching, their theology, their ways, the values and culture they advocate and promote are all far from comporting with orthodox or genuine Christianity. Plain and simple, this whole phenomenon is nothing but just another of the long list of “Christian cults” that have sprung up in church history. To the discerning and experienced, the signs of cultism are all there—glowing and flashing like a neon sign.
