THE GREATEST SERMON I NEVER PREACHED!
Today I preached the greatest sermon I never preached!
I preached it not from a pulpit, but from a recliner chair in a chemotherapy clinic!
I preached it not from notes I had meticulously prepared beforehand, but completely extemporaneously, impromptu, from the memory vault of my real life story—my his-tory!
he world/unbelievers does/do what the world/unbelievers does/do in a time of crisis, but how should believers respond in such a time? This series addresses that question from a Biblical viewpoint.
It’s long past time for the Body of Christ to “grow up in all aspects into Him, who is the Head, even Christ” (Eph. 4:15) spiritually maturing to “a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ” (Eph. 4:13), and FORCE the devil to FLEE—from individual believers and the collective Church! If the Church Jesus is building is to advance further in this last hour and see “the Kingdom come,” it must begin to embrace and comply with the first tenet of the Great Commission and begin to cast out demons!
For Christians to claim Christians cannot have demons simply because they are Born Again is like saying their car cannot break down simply because they are Born Again, or even sillier, that they don’t have to fill their gas tank or change the oil or refill the oil if it is low because they are Born Again, or that they are free from the Law of Gravity because they are a Born Again Christian. (I wouldn’t recommend attempting to prove that one by jumping off the roof of a tall building any time soon, if you really believe that one!) That’s all mysticism, which is naturalizing the spiritual and/or spiritualizing the natural.
To many people, including many who claim to be Christians or believers in Christ, the matter of the existence and operations of the devil on earth are either basically an unknown or a spiritual conundrum. That is understandable, given the fact that unbiblical or in some cases, antibiblical, preaching and teaching on the matter is ubiquitous, even in the context of self-purported Christian churches. The central theory of that biblically-incorrect teaching to varying degrees is the somewhat misleading assertion: “Jesus defeated the devil on the Cross of Calvary.” While that statement and the set of teachings it represents bears some truth, it nevertheless is not “the whole truth and nothing but the truth!” Rather, it is actually partial truth.
Friends, we believe God is leading us (SLM, Inc) to start an Internet Radio Station (aka, webcasting or netcasting) in order to take the Real Truth Radio Program and many other teachings of Dr. Lambert as well as other outstanding Bible teachers to the world. The Internet Radio Station will be available around the world 24/7, programmed with the finest available cutting-edge Spirit-anointed teaching programs focused on advancement of the Kingdom by some of the top teachers in the world, spiritual development of Body of Christ, and “equipping the saints for the work of the ministry.” PLUS, all of that great teaching programming will be nested in between and surrounded by blocks of the best Christian Music of several different Gospel genres available! There’s nothing currently in existence like what we have planned for this 24/7 Internet Radio Station that people around the world will be able to access whenever they want! “Despise not the day of small beginnings!”
