For you yourselves know, brethren, that our coming to you was not in vain, but after we had already suffered and been mistreated…as you know, we had the boldness in our God to speak to you the gospel of God amid much opposition. For our exhortation does not come from error or impurity or by way of deceit; but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who examines our hearts. For we never came with flattering speech, as you know, nor with a pretext for greed—God is witness—nor did we seek glory from men, either from you or from others, even though as apostles of Christ we might have asserted our authority. But we proved to be gentle among you, as a nursing mother tenderly cares for her own children. Having so fond an affection for you, we were well-pleased to impart to you not only the gospel of God but also our own lives, because you had become very dear to us. For you recall, brethren, our labor and hardship, how working night and day so as not to be a burden to any of you, we proclaimed to you the gospel of God. You are witnesses, and so is God, how devoutly and uprightly and blamelessly we behaved toward you believers; just as you know how we were exhorting and encouraging and imploring each one of you as a father would his own children, so that you would walk in a manner worthy of the God who calls you into His own kingdom and glory. For this reason we also constantly thank God that when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you accepted it not as the word of men, but for what it really is, the Word of GOD, which also performs its work in you who believe. (1 Thes. 2:1-13; emphasis added)

At this time, Dr. Lambert is available to minister in Sunday meetings in the United States only. Please be aware that Dr. Lambert is a prophet-teacher, and as a spokesman of God, and not man, sometimes boldly speaks unconventional words from the Lord that will not tickle the ears of the audience—without apology or qualm. As a prophet, he moves in the supernatural (healing, miracles, deliverance, prophetic words of knowledge and words of wisdom), operating in the gifts of the Spirit and out of the OFFICE of a prophet (see Jer. 1:10), so please ensure that you know what a prophet is and does before considering inviting him to minister in your organization. First and foremost, a prophet is a surrogate spokesman of GOD, not Man, which means he speaks what GOD wants to be said on HIS behalf! A genuine prophet does not sugar coat it, water it down, filter, or parse out what God is putting into his mouth to speak! He simply relays TRUTH from God! So, if you don’t want to hear the REAL, unfiltered, unadulterated TRUTH, then don’t invite Dr. Lambert to speak!

Here are several other things we highly recommend that you do before inviting Dr. Lambert to minister in your organization:

  • read and ensure you don’t have a problem with the SLM Beliefs;
  • read The Signs of Authoritarian Abuse, and ensure you don’t have a problem with it;
  • read at least the overview of his book, Charismatic Captivation, and, even better, some of the articles on the book website, and ensure you don’t have a problem with it;
  • after reading about the premise of the book, take a personal inventory with the help of the Holy Spirit to ensure that you yourself are not behaving like a “spiritual Pharaoh” (control freak) who exercises domination and control (witchcraft) over the sheep of God’s flock to force them to do what you want them to do for your own self-aggrandizing purposes;
  • read “The Picture of a Prophet” to ensure you understand what and who a genuine prophet is and does, and some of the distinguishing characteristics of a genuine prophet;
  • prepare your congregation regarding what to expect, if they are not already well-versed on it, when a prophet comes to minister to them, particularly with regard to personal prophecy—how to receive it, assay it, and what to do with it—a good source of instruction regarding personal prophecy is “About Personal Prophecy” by Dr. Lambert;
  • ask other trusted leaders in your organization to also do the things listed above, and ensure that there is unanimous agreement by the main leaders of your organization regarding the matter of inviting Dr. Lambert to minister.

Advance Warning: If you don’t want your doctrine challenged, or have manifestations of the Spirit in your services, or to receive a prophet in the name of a prophet, or if you only want to hear appealing and affirming words, then please don’t ask Brother Lambert to minister in your church—doing so would not be fair to you or to him! A bio is on the “About” page on this site (see navigation bar above).
