The following are selected recent posts on my Facebook Timeline. You can “like,” share, and comment on them on your own Facebook Timeline and or groups/pages you manage from here by clicking on the appropriate link at the bottom of each post. You can also embed them in your website or blog by clicking on the downward arrow at the top-right corner of the post, and choosing “embed post,” which will give you some code to embed on your site. You can follow and like Dr. Lambert on Facebook. This feature was added 5-5-14. Literally hundreds of Facebook posts prior to that date are worthy to make this page, but we simply do not have the time or manpower to be able to search out and post them all.
Authors don’t write books; they write sentences. Sentences are thoughts composed of individual words. Every day you are writing your autobiography. When the last sentence of the last page is written, how will the book of your life read?
The person who is waiting to hear God’s calling to something they cannot fail at, will never hear the call of God!
The callings of God are never “risk-free!” In fact, they’re almost always “risk-it-all!”
Anyone who has a mind to, saved or unsaved, can do the possible. But God calls people to do the impossible for His Glory!
God never calls someone to do something he/she can do without Him, but only to what is impossible without Him!
For those who love and live to please Him, the God of the Impossible often does not show up until all else has failed and victory seems impossible.
The disastrous and sad story of the sudden death of King David’s closest friend and bodyguard, Uzza, (1 Chrn. 13) powerfully demonstrates the Truth that the best of man’s ideas never supersede God’s ORDER! What so many fail to understand is that it’s not enough to know God’s Will and even His Word concerning His purposes, but it is doomed to failure if it is not also pursued according to His WAYS!
Being “in it to win it” is not enough, you must also finish it to win it.
By faith Moses…choosing rather to ENDURE ill-treatment with the people of God than to enjoy the passing pleasures of sin, considering the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures of Egypt; for he was looking to the reward. (Heb 11:24-26) Let us all LOOK TO THE REWARD and ENDURE! Believers are looking to the reward, not to self and the passing pleasures of sin, and therefore endure to the end.
IF WE ENDURE, we will also reign with Him…. (2 Tim. 2:12) Reigning with Him requires endurance.
