Prophetic
Perspective is an E-zine featuring prophetic articles,
commentary, analysis, and special reports, by contributing editor, Steven
Lambert, ThD, and other contributors. The
articles focus on prominent, pertinent current events, imminent
occurrences, trends, and prophetic/apostolic issues affecting
believers and the Church from a prophetic perspective in light of
Scripture, sound doctrine, and what the Holy Spirit is saying
to the Church.

Quantum techno-advancements along with the innovation of the Internet
have made it possible for anyone with a computer to become a "virtual publisher," and
each day scores of purportedly prophetic messages are published — unfiltered,
untested, untried, unproven — on the Internet, producing a whole new realm of
"prophetic problems" that did not exist just a few short years ago. Consequently, there
has emerged a tremendous need for greater accountability, prepublication scrutiny, and
effectual safeguards, in the realm of "prophetic publishing."
Myriads of believers have subjected themselves
to a "yoke of slavery" by entering into
biblically-prohibited covenants to spiritual leaders.
Scripture teaches that when people do so, they make themselves
a "slave" not only of the person(s) to whom they have
submitted themselves, but also of the demon powers behind such
illegitimate covenants. Entering into improper pacts is one of
the most spiritually destructive things a believer can do,
because the power behind it is witchcraft, and the power
behind witchcraft is the devil himself! The church desperately
needs to be liberated from the pervasive corporate effect of
this, the most insidious form of slavery. Read renowned Bible
teacher, Derek Prince's, warnings regarding this matter.
Purification is the byword of 2006! During 2006 God will begin to bring forth a new emphasis on purification of the Body of Christ, individually and corporately.
Refining, purification is the essence of God's Master Plan of the Ages. God has been carrying on the process of purification of a people for 6,000 years since He breathed the Breath of Life into Adam. The Church that Jesus said He was building is the entity He shall return to claim as His Eternal Bride. It is not those who profess to be a part of it who actually are, but rather only those who bear the fruit of the Kingdom of God.
A vital element in this purification God is bringing forth in 2006 is deliverance.
God's people must be delivered from all satanic bondages in order to come into the purification required to be able to possess the Kingdom! Deliverance is the pathway to purification. 2006 is the
year of deliverance!
The Year 2005 — Two-Thousand and FIVE — is a year in which
"Fives are wild," and there shall be a Five-Mega Anointing released in
unprecedented measure. (A prophetic word concerning the Year 2005.)
God is the God of new things! He is forever
breaking the molds and casting new ones. In the arena of the
establishment of His Kingdom on Earth, He is constantly
declaring new things before they spring forth. God
specializes in declaring and doing new things! When He
declares and brings into being a new thing, a new paradigm, a
new and living way, the old way is now dead, outmoded, and
obsolete, and has no efficacy. God turns His back on the
"former things" and is now working through the new
things He proclaims. So to be in His will and have His Power
and Provision to accomplish His Plans and Purposes, we must
"Behold" and begin to operate in the new thing!
"The prophet in his day is fully
accepted of God and totally rejected by men." No truer
statement has ever been spoken. Its author, Leonard Ravenhill,
is one of a scant corps of Bible scholars and surrogate
spokesmen of God born in the Twentieth Century who were/are
the possessors of rarified spiritual depth and understanding.
Using Spirit-inspired words as his paint, in 1994 he fashioned
this masterpiece portrait of genuine prophets—who in the
infinite eons of eternity preceding their formation in their
mother's womb were formed a surrogate spokesman in the mind of
God and thereafter forged in the secret factory of God.
Recently I received an email from a
subscriber who was asking me for answers to some questions he
had concerning some troubling issues related to the nascent
apostolic renewal. It was not until I was finishing the last
paragraph of my response that I heard the Spirit tell me to
post my answer to the SLM Prophetic Messenger, because it would also help
others who have had similar thoughts and questions.
With all the proliferation and
promotion of the prophetic that is happily taking place now in
some streams and camps of the Church, it is critical that we
understand what the true purpose of the prophetic really is. Some
people appear to think that prophecy itself is the goal of the
prophetic and that it is an end in itself. But, it's not.
Enigmatic as it sounds, prophecy itself is not the purpose of the
prophetic.
"Surely the Lord God does nothing unless He
reveals His secret counsel to His servants the prophets!" The
Holy Spirit is speaking to and through
the Lord's prophets that the Lord has declared, "A time for
war!" and there is nothing that anyone can do to reverse it. God
Almighty has declared a "Holy War" to avenge the innocent blood
that was shed on September 11, 2001 by the evil acts of naked and
unprovoked aggression perpetrated against a peaceful and
peace-seeking people and nation by demon-possessed terrorists
hell-bent on subjugating the world under the Islamic
god, Allah, who in reality is Satan himself.

Religion was the primary factor behind
the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 on our nation.
And, now, thirteen months later, religion appears to be a
major factor motivating a twenty-two-day reign of terror in
the metro D.C. sniper serial murders. Who is the real
master-source behind these kinds of terrorist acts?
September 11, 2001, “A day that will live in infamy!”
Regarding the tragic and incredible events of yesterday, some ten
years ago, the Lord gave me a prophetic dream showing me, in essence,
devastation of this sort taking place specifically in NY City. He also
showed me in my discussion with Him about what transpired in the vision, that NYC was the epicenter of the
financial, communication, commercial, and international political
infrastructure of America, and hence the world. In the days following,
He went on to tell me that there would come a time when everything that we have come to rely
upon as being foundational to our individual and collective lives, the
"foundations" of America and the free world, would be rocked, critically
wounded, and indeed, some of them fatally wounded and destroyed.
The two untouched photographs above, published by
national news services, capture the massive explosions of the World
Trade Center twin towers on Manhattan Island after two terrorist-hijacked
commercial airline planes slammed into the world famous 140-story
skyscrapers. Readily discernible in the fire and smoke of the explosion,
from both of the different perspectives of the photos, is the evil face
of the true adversary behind these unspeakably dastardly deeds. These
amazing photos ostensibly bear the very image of Satan himself, and
presumably are God’s miraculous proof to us of the evil one’s existence
and that he is the ultimate “terrorist” behind the hatred-driven
havoc wreaked upon America on September 11, 2001.
The Body of Christ needs to understand the
crucial differences between the "gifts" and
"offices." If one were to attempt to play the game of
baseball by the rules of basketball, he would be in big trouble.
That is precisely what the Body of Christ has been doing in
regards to the "gifts" and "offices."
The Fivefold Ministry Office is now and has
always been one of the foundational ministries of the Church,
and will continue to be in operation for the duration of the
of the church age.
There is a very thin line
between leading and lording, discipling and
dominating, coaxing and coercing. So thin is the
line, it is at times and in certain scenarios
nearly indistinguishable. Indeed, church leaders
commonly cross the divide without even realizing
it, and are much chagrined upon discovery of
their transgression. Moreover, many find
themselves alternately on one side or the other
of the line at different times.
The main focus of the initial
installment of our discussion was the matter of
hyper-authoritarianism in general and how easy it
is for the most principled spiritual leaders to
cross over the "thin line of
leadership" between leading and lording,
discipling and dominating, coaxing and coercing,
to operate in "foul ground" without
even realizing it. In this part, we begin turning
our attention to some of the whys and wherefors
of ecclesiastical predomination.
By and by, through the
centuries, God has been progressively dispelling
spiritual darkness in the Church by gradually
revealing more and more Truth and gradually
granting greater illumination of the Truth. As a
result, the Church's understanding of what Truth
is, is becoming more and more complete and
perfected as we approach the end of the Church Age.
In this hour the cloud of My
Spirit is moving in a different manner than in
times past. I am restoring the ministry of the
Prophet to My Church. I am building My Church.
This prophecy was originally
transmitted in 1991. However, "The New
Apostolic Reformation" that is now beginning
to take place makes it apparent that this was a
prophetic Word from God, applicable to the entire
Church, especially at this time. This is the
reason it has been republished at this time.
