To make a donation through PayPal®, click on the PayPal® Donate Button on the right sidebar.

The following are alternative donation methods to PayPal®.

Dwolla is an electronic gateway that allows you to make a donation straight from your bank account directly to SLM’s Dwolla account without having to have/use a bank (credit/debit) card at all! Simply set up your FREE Dwolla account, which requires only basic personal and banking information and takes less than two minutes, and then you can make a one-time donation or set up a multi-occurrence (e.g., monthly or bi-monthly) donation in any amount you want of at least $1. There is a $0.25 transaction fee, but that little 25¢ saves us a lot of money we are charged for merchant account transaction fees through other service providers for donations.

Cash-to-card Funding Cards
Another convenient method of “cash” funding is the cash-to-card funding cards that are now available through literally thousands of retailers, such as many super-stores, chain-drugstores, and hundreds of other types of retailers.

We used to provide more information about these cards here on this site for your convenience, but for some very odd reason, we received a cease and desist order from the top provider of these cards worldwide. So, we can no longer tell you about some of the retailers who sell these cards or even mention the card provider company here by name (again, for some very odd and nonsensical reason; go figure), but if you CLICK HERE (at least for now; we’ll see if they make us take down this link also) you can find out more about the card, where you can buy them, how much they cost, and how to use them.

What do I do after I’ve purchased and loaded a cash-to-card funding card so that SLM Inc can receive my donation?
When you load the card you will be given a receipt that has two numbers on it: 1) The Card Number, and 2) the authorization code. Simply send us an email to Email SLM Office and type in those two numbers, along with the amount of your donation. That’s it! We’ll take it from there!

Western Union
Another method of giving is by Western Union through their website (below) or in person at any retailer partner, which you can find on the website as well.

CLICK HERE to go to the Western Union website.

Online Bank Transfer (aka, ACH) | Online Banking Email/mobile Transfers

ACH Transfer:
Go online or call your bank, and follow your bank’s instructions to set up an electronic funds transfer, or ‘ACH Transfer’ (Maximum transaction limit $1,000). Some banks will allow you to transfer funds over the phone or in-person. This method takes longer for the money to be deposited in our account—usually 3-5 days. Check with your bank for how to do this type of transfer. To obtain the information you will need to send an ACH Transfer to us, simply send us an email to Email SLM Office and provide your name and phone number and we’ll call you to provide our bank account info you need for a transfer.

Email/Mobile Transfers:
This method is much easier and faster than above. Many banks now offer a free method for transfers via an email/mobile system from your personal bank account to a registered email or mobile number of any business or person. These services are FREE both for the sender and the recipient, and they eliminate any “middle-man” such as those in which you use a debit/credit card (e.g., PayPal or Google-Wallet). To find out if your bank provides this online banking service, go to your bank’s website or call your bank. Again, the sender account can only be a personal account, but the recipient can be either business or personal, checking or savings. Our business account is with Bank of America and our registered address is To set up recurring monthly or quarterly donations sent via USPS mail, most banks also provide a very convenient free “Bill Pay” service in which you set up recipients of monthly/recurring payments once, entering in the mailing address you want the checks to go to, and the amount you want to pay, and the bank sends the check for you free, even of postage charges. If you have a personal banking account with Bank of America, CLICK HERE to learn more and enroll for the service. Otherwise call or go to your bank’s website to enroll in their online Email/Mobile Transfer service.

Snail-Mail (not preferred)
Another method of giving is by check or money order via snail-mail (USPS). Make checks/money orders and send to:
