Online Bank Transfer (aka, ACH) | Online Banking Email/mobile Transfers

ACH Transfer:
Go online or call your bank, and follow your bank’s instructions to set up an electronic funds transfer, or ‘ACH Transfer’ (Maximum transaction limit $1,000). Some banks will allow you to transfer funds over the phone or in-person. This method takes longer for the money to be deposited in our account—usually 3-5 days. Check with your bank for how to do this type of transfer. To obtain the information you will need to send an ACH Transfer to us, simply send us an email to Email SLM Office and provide your name and phone number and we’ll call you to provide our bank account info you need for a transfer.

Email/Mobile Transfers:
This method is much easier and faster than above. Many banks now offer a free method for transfers via an email/mobile system from your personal bank account to a registered email or mobile number of any business or person. These services are FREE both for the sender and the recipient, and they eliminate any “middle-man” such as those in which you use a debit/credit card (e.g., PayPal or Google-Wallet). To find out if your bank provides this online banking service, go to your bank’s website or call your bank. Again, the sender account can only be a personal account, but the recipient can be either business or personal, checking or savings. Our business account is with Bank of America and our registered address is slambert@slm.org. To set up recurring monthly or quarterly donations sent via USPS mail, most banks also provide a very convenient free “Bill Pay” service in which you set up recipients of monthly/recurring payments once, entering in the mailing address you want the checks to go to, and the amount you want to pay, and the bank sends the check for you free, even of postage charges. If you have a personal banking account with Bank of America, CLICK HERE to learn more and enroll for the service. Otherwise call or go to your bank’s website to enroll in their online Email/Mobile Transfer service.
